Black Tea Brick, China, 20th century, the compressed black tea impressed on one side with five stars above a memorial arch flanked by tea trees, below with the characters "Zhongguo cha ye gongsi" (Chinese Tea Company) and "zhao li qiao zhuan cha chang zhi zao" (Made by Zhao Li Qiao Tea Brick Factory), reverse separated into sixteen rectangular reserves decorated with endless knots, 9 1/4 x 7 1/4 in.
