Signed "Edith Catlin Phelps" l.r., identified, titled, and stamped with the artist's name and Santa Barbara address on the canvas tacking edge. Oil on canvas stretched over Masonite, 36 x 30 in., in a frame bearing a tag from Lucien Lefebvre-Foinet, Paris. Condition: Varnish discoloration, surface grime. Provenance: Sold to benefit the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, Provincetown, Massachusetts.
