Tin-glazed Earthenware Colander Bowl, England, c. 1750, possibly London, the circular bowl with affixed concave cover pierced with a large hole centering numerous small holes, blue decorated, the interior with flowers and insects surrounding a central star motif, the exterior with a single D-shaped cutout and painted with flowers, insects, and scrolled foliage, dia. 8 5/8 in.
