Durfee/Providence , the midsection with carved lyre detail with scroll, acanthus leaf, and fan over a reverse-painted tablet with gold "strings" and leafage against a red and green ground, lower carved pedestal and gilt spelter eagle finial, eight-day time-only brass movement marked on the front plate 5846 , with maintaining power, Geneva stop, and deadbeat escapement regulated by a pendulum and powered by a lead weight, ht. 37 in.
