Grain-painted William Leavenworth Wood Movement Tall Clock with Alarm, Albany, New York, c. 1810, swan's neck hood with freestanding turned columns flanking the Roman numeral wooden dial with raised gilt and painted fan spandrels, and floral decorated arch, marked W. Leavenworth Albany , with central alarm disc, and seconds bit, turned quarter-columns flanking the simulated inlaid waist door, all resting on a flared shaped base, thirty-hour wooden movement, time, and hour strike movement with separate alarm mechanism on the side, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum, and two tin-cased weights, ht. 90 in.
