World War II Knuckle Knife, c. 1941-45, stamped steel knuckle guard, rubber hose grip, blade made from a socket bayonet, scabbard is also from a socket bayonet and mounted on a leather frog, overall lg. 14 3/4 in. Note: Purportedly made for the O.S.S. to drop behind enemy lines to irregular troops operating in the Philippines.
