Two-panel Folding Screen Depicting Tigers, Japan, 19th century, in the Kano school-style, with bamboo, the left panel depicting the cats walking out of a bamboo grove against the wind, on the right a tigress sitting with her forelegs raised beside her sleeping cub, ink on brown paper, matted on silver-leaf panels (mostly tarnished and retouched), each painting 51 1/8 x 23 1/8 in.
