Coral-ground Gilt-decorated Hu Vase, China, 20th century, pear-shape body with a slightly waisted neck and a rolled mouth rim, resting on a splayed stem foot, two chilong head-inspired handles to shoulders, gilt with blooming lotuses and gourds amid meshes of foliate scrolls, bands of meander pattern and ruyi cloud design around the gilt mouth rim, a band of lappet design near foot, turquoise blue-glazed interior and base, six-character Qianlong mark on base, ht. 7 5/8 in.
