Berenice Abbott (American, 1898-1991) John Watts Statue from Trinity Churchyard Looking Toward One Wall Street, Manhattan , 1938. With the photographer's Federal Art Project "Changing New York" hand stamp and titled and dated with numeric notations in pencil on the verso at center. Gelatin silver print, 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. (24.0 x 19.0 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Sheet of dry mounting tissue and paper residue affixed to the verso of the print indicating that it has been removed from its mount, print is attached to an overmat with linen tape hinges affixed to the verso, minor horizontal creases at center and along bottom edge.
