Handscroll Depicting Flora and Fauna, China, in the manner of Qian Xuan (1239-1299), including fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers, crawling creatures, flying insects, and sea creatures in a continuous scene, with a calligraphic poem as written in the Shiqu Baoji , Vol. 15, Ch. 13, signed "Wuxing Qian Xuan" with a seal reading "Shunju," six collectors' seals, four at the beginning and two at the end, painting 11 1/4 x 71 1/4 in. Provenance: From the estate of Kai Suhr, who supplied Chiang-Kai-shek's army in China between the years of 1938-1939.
