Two Black-glazed Jizhou Tea Bowls, China, Song dynasty style, one rounded cone-shape, resting on an unglazed footring, the interior depicting a stylized flower and leaf brushed in brown slip, ht. 1 7/8, dia. 4 3/4; the other conical form with a slightly flared mouth rim, resting on a short straight foot, the black glaze with bluish metallic oil spots of various sizes on the interior and near the rim of the exterior, the rim in underglaze brown, ht. 1 7/8, dia. 4 3/4 in.
