a Pair of Kerman Embroidered Pillow Faces and an Ilguch, Southeast Persia and Uzbekistan, early 20th century, the pillow faces both featuring polychrome concentric radial medallions with pendants and stylized spandrels, small-scale "boteh" minor borders, one with an individual blossoming shrub-patterned major border and one with a mirror image "boteh" and blossom main border, one with partial metal thread embroidery, all on a red felt ground, 2 ft. 6 in. x 1 ft. 8 in. and 2 ft. 4 in. x 1 ft. 9 in., the ilguch with a large highly zoomorphic cruciform medallion in light blue, gold, light green, and light red on a vivid red felt ground with several tassels at the bottom, 1 ft. 8 in. x 8 in.
