Sculptural 22kt Gold and Rutilated Quartz Ring, Gillian Packard, London, 1971, the wide band set with a faceted rutilated quartz, 15. 3 dwt, size 6 1/2, British hallmarks and maker's mark. Note: Gillian Packard (1938-1997) established herself as one of the leading jewelers of the 1960s, winning many major jewelry awards and became the first woman to become a Freeman of the Goldsmiths Company in a professional capacity. Examples of her work are in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
