Two Early Footwarmers and Two Paint-decorated Bellows, late 18th/19th century, footwarmers constructed of wood with pierced holes, sliding wood doors and intact ember trays inside, one pierced with the initials "SA" thought to relate to the Ackerman family of Bergen County, New Jersey, the other with geometric carving with iron ember shovel and inlaid initials "CE" on the door allegedly for Charles Elting of New Paltz, New York, the bellows with painted floral decoration, (imperfections), lg. to 18 in.
