Ormolu-mounted French Lyre Clock and Garniture, c. 1870, variegated green marble lyre-form case with applied ormolu beading, leafage, swags, and figural sunburst at the top, the gilt engine-turned bezel opens to the porcelain Arabic numeral dial with floral swags and pierced gilt hands, eight-day, time and bell strike movement with paste stone pendulum surrounding the dial and suspended above, all on a wooden velvet fitted pedestal with glass dome, together with two vase-form marble candelabra with ormolu mounts and candleholders, ht. of clock on pedestal and dome 24 1/2, garniture ht. 12 in.
