Mid 19th Century Persian Tribal Wedding Tapestry with lotus border done in Imperial red ground and royal and baby blues. The piece features butterflies, fish and various floral designs with a central medallion of the pair of birds. It is hand stitched silk thread and backed by 6 panels of linen that appear to be original. Measures approx 10 feet 5 inches by 5 feet.
