(20.0 x 20.0 cm), framed. Condition: Good. N.B. Born in Mexico City, Gabriella Epstein studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana and later spent eleven years on a coffee plantation in rural Chiapas, away from the chaos of the city. In Chiapas the artist found a "calm, soothing" landscape of lush rainforests, crystalline waterfalls, and mountainous scenery to inspire her creativity. Epstein creates her geometric abstractions in four phases, allowing drying time for multiple layers and often creates diptychs and triptychs.
