Two Boxed Sets of Ink Sticks, China, Ming dynasty or later, one with eight carved and gilt ink sticks, rectangular with variously shaped corners, decorated in bas-relief with scenes of people weaving fabric on the front, with instructions on the back; and the other with nine ink sticks of various shapes, carved and gilt with poems and matching scenes, ink stick ht. to 5 7/8 in.
