Louis XVI-style Bureau de Cylindre, France, late 19th/early 20th century, with overall ormolu mounts, brass gallery rail with ribbon swag surrounding rouge marble superstructure with three inlaid drawers, atop a case with cylinder lid of parquetry and marquetry cartouches of foliate arabesques, crown, shield, and floral motifs, an interior with three drawers surmounting a black leather writing surface, a frieze comprised of three drawers, and both side panels with figural head mask mounts, all supported by caryatids on cabriole legs terminating in hairy paw feet, ht. 51 3/4, wd. 53, dp. 27 1/4 in.
