Watercolor and ink on paper, image/sheet size 12 1/2 x 9 3/8 in. (31.7 x 23.8 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. Provenance: Gift from the artist to Heka Regula Frankl Meeske Davis, to the current owner by family descent. N.B. During and after World War II, from her home in New York, Heka sent care packages of food and supplies to artists in Europe, and among them was Hans Reichel. Sometimes the artists were able to send back artworks to express their thanks for her generosity and assistance. Lots 380 and 381 were such gifts, sent by Hans Reichel to Heka in the mid 1950s.
