Antique Continental Heavily Carved Massive Hardwood Sideboard with Bacchanalian Themes On Carved Panels. C. 1880. The ornately worked top with fruit carvings at sides. Below two pull drawers have three Eastern European faces of men covered with bunches of grapes at each side. At bottom two large swing doors each have two carved panels. One a winged cherub with swags of fruit and a horned satyr with grapes the whole raised on two massive paw feet at front. 77 inches H; 96 inches W and 32 inches D. Very good condition.
