Indian, late 19th/early 20th century. Two door cabinet with rectangular panels hand painted with vibrant figural and spiritual decoration in landscapes marked with rolling hills and swirling clouds. Flowers and leaves frame scenes throughout. Cornice form top above to hinged doors that open to shelved space within. Interior of doors with personified sun and moon. Cabinet or cupboard raised on bracket feet. Height 71.7", width 37", depth 14.6". Provenance: Joseph Konrad Antiques, Atlanta, Georgia whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia in 1998.
