[Children's Island] Berlin and Gdansk: Slovo, n. d. [1921] 4to, publisher's half cloth with color lithograph illustration mounted to upper board, top edge dyed yellow. First edition of this collection of verse about toys, games and zoo animals, profusely illustrated with lithographs by Boris Grigoriev. Apparently the artist's only children's book. Gilt-lettered spine faded; soiling and dampstain to boards with some loss to bottom corner; hinges tender; bookseller's sticker to front pastedown; some light soiling to pages.
