Folio, contemporary roll-tooled vellum with ornate centrepiece stamped in blind on front and back covers, gilt-lettered leather spine label, spine gilt in compartments, printer's device to title page, title page in red and black, engraved head- and tail-pieces and initials. Inner hinges cracked; dampstain to upper corner of first few pages and lower portion of the binding; short manuscript notation to title page; endpapers renewed; lacks first and last blank; small tear to title page repaired on verso.
