Monumental Renaissance style figural wall or pier mirror with cornice top with leaf tip, egg and dart, dentilated and fluted borders above ebonized frieze with scrolled foliates flanked by Bacchanalian or grotesque facial masks above scrolled figural pilasters with renditions portraying a nude Pan with elongated stylized facial features with draped curtain skirt accented with fruit clusters and pipes above trailing bell flowers, flanking looking glass surface, cornice form bottom with elongated shield medallion decorated with Latin text reading "NOSCE TE IPSUM" (roughly translated as "Know Thyself"). Overall approximate height 91.25", width 68.25", depth 10.5".
