purportedly owned by Louis Alexander Mountbatten, 1st Marquess of Milford Haven, formerly Prince Louis Alexander of Battenberg, the pierced oval bowl having winged putti mask, foliate, lattice and cartouche decoration, flanked by scrolling foliate handles surmounted by winged putti blowing a conch shell, raised on a conforming decorated foot, one cartouche engraved with a royal armorial, the foot inscribed having a conforming chromed steel insert; approximate weighable 88.05 ozt. Width over handles 22 1/4 inches.
