of semi-transparent pale celadon colored stone with some grey flecks, depicting the beast in a forward lunge with mouth open and having a free-moving ring handle under the chin, with a flowing mane and with scrolled decoration throughout, the tail pierce carved with multiple plumes, having a raised vessel on the back of the animal with a fu dog form finial, raised atop a fitted hardwood base with wire inlay. Height 5 1/2 inches.
