London: Longmans, Green, 1886. 12mo, rebound in recent quarter morocco over marbled boards, publisher's printed wraps bound at the rear. First English edition, first issue, with "5" in 1885 on the binding ink changed to "6" by the publisher and ad for the second edition of "A Child's Garden of Verses" at the rear. This wrapper-bound issue precedes the cloth issue by a week. A few light marginal and fore edge stains; upper wrapper rebacked with thick paper with a couple of professionally repaired tears. [Together with:] 4pp. program for the performance of at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, London, adapted by T. Russell Sullivan and starring Richard Mansfield (opened at the Lyceum Theatre August 4, 1888). 8vo, bound in blue calf, original cloth bound behind program along with 20 blank sheets.
