circa 1840 with later stand, of oval form, the top with a landscape scene of two grazing deer and trees, with a German inscription; the sides have traditional floral decoration and retain the original paint raised on a later, custom base with squared, tapering legs and joined by an X-stretcher. Height 18 3/4 x width 19 x depth 12 inches.
