1939. Two-cel set-up, gouache on trimmed celluloid, an original hand-painted watercolor production background, depicting Pinocchio introducing himself to the evil puppet master, Stromboli. Annotated on the verso Prod. F3, Seq. 44, SC. 23, stamped "OK" initialled CE, with another crossed out, marked "With Cor." Also stamped on the verso, "This material is the property of Walt Disney Productions. It is not published and MUST NOT be taken from the studio, duplicated or used in any manner except for production purposes without written permission from an authorized officer of the company." Framed and matted. 10 3/4 x 13 inches.
