the first centered with a gilt monogram L and a crown, surrounded by a gilded wreath and flanked by two cherubs, set within a cobalt border and gilt banding, marked dated 1846, the second centered with a portrait of Madame Recamier, depicted wearing a tiara and a pearl necklace, set within a cobalt border with three panels of floral decoration, having gilt scrolling decoration throughout, signed Gaby, marked M. Imp le de Sevres. Diameter of first 9 1/4 inches.
