With 1,937 engraved plates, nearly all hand-colored. Front board detached on four vols., with some loss to spine; text-block and f.f.e.p. detached to vol. 1; boards rubbed with some loss at corners to most vols.; some foxing to preliminaries; otherwise plates are in very fine condition.
