First (and only) collected edition of Vesalius' works, with engraved additional title, portrait and 80 (of 82) plates by Jan Wanderlaar after the originals. Wear to boards with boards detached on Tome I and starting on Tome II; ex-library copy with stamps; some soiling and spotting and dampstaining throughout, heaviest at pp. 390-398 Tome I; pp. 141-170 (16 plates) detached Tome I; some light offsetting from plates; corners of pages curled with some chipping; backstrip starting both tomes; overall a good copy with no tears to plates.
