Lausanne: Gonin, 1930. 4to, full crushed brown levant morocco, with seven vertical panels on both covers of onlaid pink, tan and green with vertical and horizontal rules of gilt extending onto spine, spine with gilt-lettered title set against squares of repeating color onlays, stamped J. Lambert, silk endpapers, marbled preliminary leaves, original printed wraps bound in, a.e.g. One of 20 copies, from a total edition of 195, signed by the publisher. Embellished with 30 pochoir illustrations in color by Schmied (5 full-page and 25 large initials, small vignettes and full-page with text). Each of the 30 illustrations contains two additional states (black and white and color) printed on japon. This copy with three additional suites plates in multiple states (21, 22 and 12 states). Three small chips to the top of the upper board; otherwise fine.
