Folio, bound in full brown morocco by Raparlier, ruled in gilt and blind with elaborate floral onlays of mauve, ivory, green, gilt, red and yellow to upper board, floral stem to spine with mauve bloom extending to rear board, with decorative hand-made paper doublures and onlaid green and brown gilt turn-ins, silk endpapers, original gilt-lettered wraps bound in, a.e.g. Number 111 of 180 examples on velin a la forme, signed by the editor to the limitation page, from a total edition of 252. Richly illuminated by Alphonse Mucha with elaborate border scenes. "[The] most complete statement in the Art Nouveau style . . . [and] one of the best examples of total book design." (Mucha, p. 12) Some rubbing to edges of spine; otherwise very fine.
