First American edition, published one month after the London edition. With preliminary frontispiece map and publisher's advertisements. Wear to boards with loss to edges and extremities, fading to cloth and soiling with some damp spots; intermittent foxing; manuscript ex-libris to f.f.e.p.; water stain to front of slipcase; otherwise fine.
