Chicago: Chicago Times Book and Job Printing Establishment, 1862. 8vo, original printed wraps, 100 pp. Includes report of the Superintendent, the Principal of the Chicago High School, a listing of the Dr. John H. Foster medal awardees since 1858, the awards of life scholarships at Bryant and Stratton's Commercial College and Sloan's Commercial College, the officers of the Board of Education and a listing of all the teachers in the system with their salaries. The rules of the Board of Education are included along with the text books to be used and the school boundaries. Some browning to pages and wraps; light chipping to spine; very minior dark spotting; otherwise a fine and comprehensive report of the school system in Chicago in 1862.
