New York: Scribner's, 1928. 4to, half vellum and gilt stamped red boards, gilt lettered black morocco spine label, t.e.g. First edition. One of 260 limited copies signed by the author to the limitation page. With numerous full page photo lithographs with tissue guards including color frontispiece and folding map of the National Golf Links of America. After bringing back a set of clubs from Scotland in 1892, Charles B. Macdonald laid out the first 18 hole golf course at the Chicago Golf Club, the first golf course west of the Allegheny Mountains. Minor soiling to spine; otherwise fine.
