Basil: Andreae Cratandri, (1529). 8vo, contemporary vellum boards, leather spine label with titles in gilt. An early edition of the most complete and systematic study of urine that remains from antiquity. Actuarius was a Byzantine physician in the court of Andronicus III. Intermittent marginalia; contemporary label tipped in front pastedown; wormholing to front covers and first few pages; soiling to vellum; otherwise binding is tight and interior is in good condition.
