comprising 18 original photographs and two negatives from Elvis Presley's mother's funeral and photographs of the Presley family. On August 14, 1958, only six months after his enlistment in the U.S. Army, Elvis Presley's mother, Gladys Love Smith Presley, died of a heart attack brought on by acute hepatitis. Gary and his mother attended the funeral and the Tankers fan club made arrangements for flowers to be placed on Gladys' grave throughout the year.
