Edinburgh: Bell & Bradfute et al., and London: Robinson, 1792. 8 vols. 12mo, in matching contemporary full calf, with gilt lettering and tooling to backstrips, 4 raised bands. With 12 illustrated plates. First printing of the Arabian Tales, which completed the translation into English of all the stories from this collection. Splitting to some backstrips and hinges, with varnish applied to three backstrips; wear and soiling to boards; light foxing throughout; offsetting to front and back endpapers of some volumes; signature of previous owner to half-titles; tape repair to inner hinges of two volumes; otherwise fine.
