Greek. Pelike double handled vase with red figures on each side accented in cream and black. One side of vessel with seated woman holding a box out toward winged figure, possibly Nike under curtained accent in an outdoor setting. The opposite side with winged figure at top flying above a woman and seated nude holding a bowl and being shaded by woman holding parasol overhead. Palm frond banding at top between handles. Greek key motif on band above circular foot. Height 13.6", diameter of top 6.75". Provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
