Third edition, augmented by Chippendale with 40 additional plates. A complete set of 200 copper-plate engravings, plus dedication, of furniture designs "calculated to improve and refine the present Taste, and suited to the Fancy and Circumstances of Persons in all Degrees of Life." An internally fine copy. Boards scuffed and scratched; professional repairs to joints; otherwise in a sound binding.
