Continental, probably Italian, 20th century. A substantial painted tole and glazed hexagonal section lantern with openwork acanthus crown over six leafy supports joining the hexagonal shaped lantern surmounted with tole palmettes alternating with silvered urn finials above the tapering opaque glass panels flanked to each side by scrolled brackets over gadrooned base and turned drop finial. The interior fitted with a single light, electric. Approximate height 45", diameter 17.5".
