Original stage measuring 90 X 80 inches and reproduction of stage measuring 83 X 73 inches. The troupe first appeared on television in 1939. The Kuklapolitans premiered on WBKB, in Chicago, in 1947 and moved to WNBQ in November of 1948. Kukla, Fran and Ollie also became one of the first television shows broadcast over the NBC network, via the coaxial cable linking the East Coast and Midwest.
