William Moffett married Pamela Clemens; their daughter, Annie Moffett, married Charles Webster. Erasmus Moffett was the brother of William, and his daughter was Ella Moffett. The inscription reads "To Miss Ella Moffett with the compliments of her cousin the publisher of the book. New York March 19th 1885". Bookplate of Mr. Wm. R. Lockwood to front pastedown. Wear to the spine extremes and some rubbing to the rear board; otherwise a fine copy.
