Happy or laughing Budai or Hotei figure carved out of spinach green jade depicted seated with his bare toes at bottom surrounded by rippling draped robes with a large exposed round belly. Figure's face with joyful carefree expression. Laughing Budai holding a circular strand of prayer beads in his left hand. Unmarked. Height 4.5 inches, width 4 inches, depth 3.75 inches.
