Marc Chagall (French/Russian 1887-1985), "Couple dans Mimosa (Couple in Mimosa)" from Nice and the Côte d'Azur--1967, limited edition hand signed color lithograph. Pencil signed lower right, numbered lower left "40/150". Additionally marked within the matrix, lower left "CH. SORLIER SCULP" and lower right "MARC CHAGALL PINX". Lithograph depicts a couple in a loving embrace surrounded by a halo or lighted mandora filled with flowers, leaves and fruit with a dark purplish blue sky in the background with a crescent moon at the top left corner. Framed Notes: This work was created from an artistic collaboration between Charles Sorlier and Marc Chagall. The artists created twelve images for their project titled "Nice and the Côte d'Azure".
