French, 19th century. Cuirass metal protective armor including breastplate and back plate with diamond detail down center. Armor with chain link shoulder straps and weathered and rusting metal patina. Missing original leather waist belt, remnants visible. Small oval mark on bottom interior edge of each piece. Marked with sideways 2 next to 39 on each shoulder.
