Acrylic on Fiberglass. Artist, sculptor, and musician Mads Anderson has been painting and playing electric guitars for most of his life. He received his bachelor of fine arts in painting from the University of Nebraska in 1997 and has exhibited his work widely across the United States. Anderson is currently focusing on large-scale oil enamel canvas paintings and also has a series of aluminum relief sculptures involving his repetitive imagery of ornamental chaos. In reflecting on his approach, Anderson states: “My body of work involves the delicate balance between imagination and the repetitive unknown.” Anderson currently has studios in Los Angeles and in Omaha, Nebraska. "Timescape" is an abstract guitar created by compiling images and references to infamous Sunset Strip music legends. Height on base, 10 feet Categories:
